Twisters in Guernsey

Good food, nice service but this place hit a couple of my pet peeves. First, the couple at the table near me was watching a video on their phone out loud for their whole meal, no headphones. I don't wanna hear your must see TV people! Second, please give me an itemized receipt. I ordered, the menu disappeared...and when I ordered dessert there was no price listed. It was just ice cream so I figured, no big deal...how much can it be...well $3 I guess. When I asked for the bill she just told me to come up front when I'm ready to check out. Still No Bill, nothing but a total. Seemed high, so I asked what each item cost...then had to ask what the tax rate was. No transparency! Not the way to instill trust that I'm not being overcharged. Give everyone a bill and tell people to turn their videos off and you'll get 5 stars.

We visited a few times this summer. Good service, nice menu. My dad's new favorite "special" place to eat in Platte County.

I've been meaning to rate these guys since last summer. Food was so good and the service was great. Staff was extremely friendly and the restrooms were clean. Definitely recommend if you're in the area!

The bathrooms were so cutely decorated! She the food was time too! The chicken nuggets for the kids were fun animal shapes. The cheeseburger I had was yummy. And the panini was amazing!

Basic food like sandwiches & salads.

Fairly good eatery. Staff works hard and food is acceptable. Probably best place to eat in this small Wyoming town.

Surprising great food. High quality, large portions, great taste, good variety. I'll be looking for excuses to come back! While I had a great salad, everyone else at the table had some variation of a burger - a couple of self-described burger connoisseurs stated the burgers were incredible. If the food is consistent (I've only been once), you won't be disappointed!

The food is great which is even more impressive considering they don't have much competition in the evening. They have some of the best onion rings I've ever had.

The staff is very nice and professional. The food is really good. And the setting is cozy and quiet.

It is by clean. The food and service is excellent. The menu is limited.

Great breakfast!

This place felt like a restaurant oasis, good food and a good place to visit if you happen to be in this area. Also order the giant cookie for the road. Easy parking is also welcome. It was nice to be close to the Oregon trail

Best cheeseburger and fries I have in a long long time.

In July we were camping at Guernsey State Park and after a hot, busy day sightseeing we came across Twisters Eatery. What a find! The manager/waitress was a blessing and we quickly noticed she had established great rapport with all the folks dining. A very attractive restaurant and our meal was excellent! And as a quirky thing I got into when we started this 4 month road trip-taking pictures of bathrooms. My wife was concerned when I didn't return for an extended period of time and after telling her I got sidetracked reading the old newspaper articles on the wall, I took her back to show her. Summary-A Great place for dinner!

Great coffee. Good food. Worth it to stop if you're driving through. Just a down to earth cafe. Nice.

Great staff, diner atmosphere, portions were good. My sandwich was good, a few items were a tad dry but the folks I were eating with were highly complementary of their lunches so we're going with their meals over mine in this instance. Good prices and would visit this restaurant again if in Guernsey.

What an exceptional meal!. The brisket sandwich and potato salad are as good as all the reviews said to expect. They have avocado fries! Out freaking standing! Service was wonderful, nice decor, don't miss this place.

Quiet little hole in the wall, with friendly staff, excellent service, great food, and affordable!! The bread pudding was amazing!! In town working and it was recommended to "try this place". Definitely glad I did!! 5 Stars and 2 thumbs up!! Thank you!!

Stopped by after a meeting in Gurnsey WYOMING ate the adult grilled cheese OMG off the chain it's worth going by and eating here 100%

Eat in dining was available July 15. Decir is really cute Western farmhouse and menu is pretty extensive for sandwiches and other lunch items.

This cute western themed resturaunt is a diamond in the rough. Great appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, and a full espresso bar!The service was wonderful. Don't pass it up if your traveling through Guernsey!

Restaurant has great decor and a home like feel. Arrived early today and was promptly given great coffee. Menu has a lot of carb’d options that looks great such as waffles with whipped cream and red white n blue sprinkles.. Keto advice for this restaurant: 4 eggs and 3 strips of bacon would do the trick. Ordered 3 eggs as seen in photo but wish I’d ordered 4. Restaurant restroom has interesting magazines attached to walls.

I met my best friend here and we sat outside in the beautiful weather. Good breakfast, friendly service. We both smoke and politely asked if we could even though there were signs thanking us for not smoking. We were mindful and didn't smoke if the other outside table was occupied, had our own ashtray and removed it when we were done, brought our dishes in, etc. We are both Wy natives and had a great time!

Always have good food and good service. We love the Friday night chicken fried steak special. So big we always split it and yummy.

Absolutely the best breakfast in Guernsey! Cute little cafe with tons of quaint charm & area history. We can't wait to come back.I was so hungry that I realized I was finished before I had the chance to take pictures.They have baked goods on the premises and I highly recommend the lemon loaf. We ate the whole thing on our way to Devil's Tower.Delicious!

Very disappointing!!! Only three tables when my husband and I arrived... Took ten minutes to get menus and drinks, took 45minutes to get appetizers! An hour for food to come out. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. All we got was grilled cheese burnt bread, cheese wasn't even melted!

I had a cheeseburger and it was not good. The onion rings were good.

We waited a while and then we seated ourselves. When the waitress came out, I ordered the Belgium waffle. It said that it came with strawberries and whipped cream, but it didn't come with any. I pointed it out to the waitress, and she said it comes only by request. I got the menu and pointed it out, and she mumbled something and said she could get it on the side. She only brought some microwaved strawberry mess, and didn't bring any whipped cream. The waffle was really cold. My boyfriend let me have some of his French toast because his was at least warm. What a bad impression.
